The city of joy; growing up in Kolkata was a surreal experience because of the sheer culture this place depicts and the history surrounding it. Growing up I was always fascinated by the individuals that were around me, so I decided to make a photo series showcasing them. This series is a perfect representation of what I want to achieve with my travel photography. My intent is not to take pictures of just the place; but rather to capture a moment in time, portraying the many stories surrounding me.
